Location: Badger Ltd, 121 Glover Street, Birmingham, B9 4EY
Contracted Hours: Minimum of 12 hours per week
Hourly Rates of Pay: £8.09 to £9.89 per hour (dependent on shift pattern)
Weekdays (Monday to Friday):
Daytime: 13.00-18.00; Evening: 17.00-22.00; Overnight: 22.00-08.00
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday):
Daytime: 08.00-16.00; Evening: 14.00-22.00; Overnight: 22.00-08.00
Badger Group provides a GP Out of Hours and primary healthcare service across Greater Birmingham and is currently seeking to recruit Call Handlers at our Call Centre based at Glover Street Birmingham.
Call Handlers are required to work a variety of shift patterns within a 24/7 operation.
You will possess excellent communication skills and have a professional telephone manner and have the ability to remain calm under pressure. Good keyboard skills and a high level of accuracy are essential for this role.
Ideally you will have previous call handling experience or have worked in a customer service environment or patient based environment and have an understanding of the Data Protection Act and confidentiality.
You will be provided with a full in-house training programme to support you in your role.
