Hourly Rates of Pay: £8.80 per hour
Minimum Commitment of 12 Contracted Hours per week required.
Various Shift Patterns:
Weekday Evenings (Monday to Friday): 18.30-23.00 hours
Weekend (Saturday and Sunday): Between 09.15-23.00 hours
Badger Group provides a GP Out of Hours and primary healthcare service across Greater Birmingham and is currently seeking to recruit Healthcare Support Workers to be based at our various Primary Care Centres.
If you are passionate about helping others and want to make a difference, we want to hear from you. Healthcare Support Workers carry out clinical observations, under the supervision of qualified nurses and doctors, and provide a high standard and quality of health care to patients. Healthcare Support Workers are required to work in accordance with Badger policies and clinical procedures.
This role suits caring people with professional and courteous communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to have a good general education and a qualification in Health and Social Care would be an advantage, however BADGER does provide in-house training. An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Confidentiality is essential.
You must be able to commit to a minimum of a 12 hour per week shift pattern and successful candidates must be able to commit to daytime, evening and weekend working.
BADGER delivers a Cavendish Care Certificate and successful post holders will be required to carry out a mandatory three-month training programme as part of their induction.
