What is the Badger Out-of-Hours service?
The Out-of-Hours service provides advice, information and treatment for NHS patients in Birmingham and Solihull who need medical help when their GP Practice is closed.
The service operates Monday to Friday from 18:30 until 08:00, 24 hours over the weekend and all public holidays.
How do I access the service?
To use NHS services, you can:
- Call NHS 111
- Visit 111.nhs.uk and fill in the online form
- Use the NHS 111 service through a textphone by calling 18001 111
- Call your GP practice
Calls to NHS 111 are free from mobiles and landlines and this service is available 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.
